Terms of Service

1. What ITWars is

ITWars is a study tool for Cisco certification exams. It provides practice questions, flashcards, simulated network labs and competitive practice modes. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cisco Systems, Inc. "CCST", "CCNA", "CCNP" and "CCIE" are trademarks of Cisco Systems and are used here only to describe which exam a study track prepares for.

2. What ITWars is not

ITWars does not contain live exam questions, "brain dumps", or leaked exam content. All material is written against Cisco's published exam objective topics. Passing an exam is not guaranteed, and no readiness score produced by this site is a prediction Cisco recognises.

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

Do not: attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service; automate play to inflate ratings, streaks or leaderboard position; harass other players through the friends, challenge or arena features; upload an avatar you do not have the rights to or that is offensive; or scrape the question bank.

Competitive features are monitored for automated play. Accounts found manipulating ratings may have results reversed or be suspended.

5. Content and ownership

The questions, labs, simulator and site remain the property of ITWars. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while your account is active. Anything you create — an avatar, a username, a lab command log — remains yours, and you grant us only the permission needed to display it in the product (for example, showing your avatar on a leaderboard).

6. Paid plans

No payment processor is connected to this service at the time of writing, so no charge can currently be taken. When paid plans go live, the plan price, billing period and cancellation terms shown at checkout form part of these terms, and the Refund Policy applies.

7. Availability

This is a service that can go down, lose an in-flight match on a restart, or change without notice. Progress, ratings and results are stored durably; a live match in progress is not. We do not promise a specific uptime.

8. Ending your account

You may stop using ITWars at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will normally explain why unless doing so would compromise an investigation. Administrative actions taken on accounts are recorded in an internal audit log.

9. Liability

ITWars is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for exam results, lost study time, or indirect losses arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use ITWars after that means you accept the new terms.
